1. How is Minimal Exposure sized?

Our printed collection consists of tops, tunics, dresses, jackets and culottes. Our intended fits are relaxed and loose fitting and the garments are all One Size, which fits measurements small to extra-large. Our culottes are available in a size range of small to extra-large.

2. I’d like to find out more about a garment before I purchase it…

We appreciate that you want our pieces to fit correctly so that you may feel comfortable in them. So for your convenience, we've listed detailed descriptions for each garment, such as the fabric, fit, care, prints and style. But if there’s anything else you’d like to know about our range before you make a decision, do pop us an email at support@minimalexposure.co.za and we’ll happily assist you!

3. Which methods of payment do you accept?

You are able to make payments from all major debit and credit cards as well as Instant EFT. The transactions are processed securely via Payfast, using a verified SSL certificate to ensure that all data provided is encrypted.

4. What does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping for ALL our national orders! We make use of FastWay couriers and delivery takes 3-4 days once your package has been despatched. For our friends over the borders and across the seas, we’re in the process of setting up shipping for international orders. Follow us here for further updates.

We advise customers to use an address that they can guarantee someone being there to receive the item (home or place of work) as they will need to be signed for. We cannot accept PO Box addresses and require a contact number when you create an account with us. Once your parcel leaves our premises it is the carriers responsibility to deliver your package to you. We have very little, if any power to influence any non-delivered items. The carrier will explain their procedures as well as any compensation claim processes. We will always do our best to help this process along when contacted by the customer via support@minimalexposure.co.za

5. Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! We make use of a registered mail service and shipping takes 7-21 days. After your package has been despatched, you will receive an email stating the your tracking number. It may take 3-4 days for the info to populate onto the mail service, but your package is definitely on its way to you!

Kindly note that we cannot be held responsible for any items/pacakges that are lost in transit. Customs and import duties are levied by the receiving country and are therefore the buyer's responsibility. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on international orders, so if you have any questions about an item with regards to sizing etc, please email us via support@minimalexposure.co.za and we'll happily assist you! We are not able to re-route your order after it has been shipped, so please check that your billing and shipping address are correct.

International tracking information is not updated as frequently as domestic shipments and may cease updating once the package arrives at your local post office counter. Please call your local post office to check, as they rarely send out a first notice.

6. How fast are orders processed?

After payment has been received, it takes 1-3 days for orders to be processed.

7. Can you customize my order?

Unfortunately we don’t do any altering of any garments but our pieces can easily be altered by your local tailor or seamstress.

8. How do I cancel an order?

Please email us at support@minimalexposure.co.za and reference your order number and/or the first and last name associated with the billing address on the order. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped. In the case that you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to cancel it but it has already shipped, you will have to wait until the package arrives and send it back to us for a return or exchange. Please read our Return Policy.

9. I received a receipt from Payfast but not from Minimal Exposure – Did my order process?

Yes, if you received a confirmation receipt from Payfast after using Payfast to checkout on www.minimalexposure.co.za, your order has been successfully submitted. Please note that if you checked out as a guest and used Payfast as your form of payment, your receipt from Payfast is the only form of confirmation you will receive about the order. To receive a copy of the confirmation receipt along with subsequent tracking updates in addition to the receipt from Payfast, please create an account and/or login before checking out on www.minimalexposure.co.za

10. Where can I track my order?

Once your package has been despatched, you will receive an email including your tracking number and link to the courier site.

11. What happens if I miss my parcel?

Any items not delivered due to recipient not being home will generally be returned to a local depot after the second delivery attempt. Items not collected from the depot will be returned to Minimal Exposure, we will then issue a refund of goods MINUS our postal charges and an admin fee for returned items. We advise customers to use an address that they can guarantee someone being there to receive the item (home or place of work) as they will need to be signed for.

12. What are your customer service hours?

Support Team hours are Monday to Friday. 08:00  - 17:00. We’re a small team but providing excellent customer service is a part of our core values, so we’ll do our utmost to answer all enquiries as soon as possible.
