Architectural in form, this dress is simple and utilitarian. Wear it on its own during summer or layer it up in winter with our cropped trouser and kimono.
This dress was inspired the clothing worn by the women in Mauritania. Their dresses are simplistic in construction and design, the cloth is cut away from the body, allowing the air to circulate around the wearer, essential during the warmer seasons. Our dress features side pockets and they are deep to stash a good couple of bits and bobs without falling out as you go about your day. The neckline is elegant and flattering while providing coverage. The dress comes with an optional belt, so you’re able to change the silhouette up a bit whenever you please.
It is tea length so that in the warmer months you can wear it simply on its own or layer it with our cropped trouser and kimono during winter.
The fabric is luxurious against your skin. It is incredibly soft and with its silk-like qualities, it has a beautiful drape. It maintains its rich colour wash after wash and its far more superior at repelling moisture than other cotton fabrics.
The dress is loose fitting and flattering on all shapes and sizes, as it is an A-line silhouette. It is a tea length dress, we currently don't offer any alterations on our lengths but they can be easily hemmed at your local tailor or seamstress.
